On the Menu: Protecting Your Client’s Brand
U.S. Risk’s Restaurant Guard Specialty Underwriting Program was created to help your restaurant owners protect their brand and reputation from food-borne illness outbreaks and the costs associated with them. Just one contamination outbreak could undo customer confidence in a client’s establishment—whether it’s the neighborhood tavern, an upscale restaurant, or chain—and drive an operation into bankruptcy.
Restaurant Guard is restaurant contamination insurance and reimburses an operation for expenses related to a food-borne illness. This includes the costs to replace the contaminated food, required equipment cleaning, loss of income as result of being shut down, medical tests or vaccinations for affected employees, crisis management and PR, and more. Our program includes a broad definition of coverage triggers (see below) so that your insureds are properly covered.
