Drew Atkins, CIC
Broker
Drew joined U.S. Risk in 2015 as a broker in the Houston office. Drew currently brokers casualty for a variety of classes, including contractors, hospitality, manufacturing and habitational. He also works on casualty accounts that are difficult to place due to losses or to the industries in which they work.
Drew earned his Bachelor of Finance and Accounting from Texas Christian University.

Adam Holtman
Senior Broker/Underwriter
Adam was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and attended Texas Christian University. Shortly before graduation, Adam began working in the oil and gas industry and eventually started his own brokerage company. He sold the company to Chesapeake Energy in 2008.
In 2009, Adam joined Hull & Company as a broker/underwriter with no insurance experience at all, but left the company in ten years later as their largest producer. He joined U.S. Risk in 2019 and continues working as a property and casualty broker/underwriter.

Taylor joined U.S. Risk in 2020 as a personal lines underwriter in the Houston office. Taylor’s background is in middle-market and high-value personal lines risks, including auto, home, dwelling fire, watercraft, recreational vehicle coverage, and more. She has been in the insurance industry since 2016. Taylor graduated from Binghamton University in New York with a Bachelor’s of Science in Financial Economics.

Stanley joined U.S. Risk in 2020 as a Property Broker in the Houston, Texas office. He specializes in CAT exposed property, large layered placements, builder’s risk, and the development of proprietary property programs. Stanley earned a bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Olivet College.

Jody Travis, CIC
Vice President/Senior Underwriter/Broker
Jody started his insurance career shortly after returning home from Texas Tech University in 1992. He specializes in surplus lines property and casualty business. He obtained his CIC designation in 2002. He began his career at Specialty Insurance Managers and found his way to Leicht General Agency, then IMS London American, which eventually merged with U.S. Risk. Jody has focused on mainstream surplus-line accounts for most of his career and has a long history with general contracting, hospitality, habitational and retail/lessor’s risk. Jody has a longtime commitment to providing exceptional service in all lines of business and brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to every account he works on.
