Randall Goss

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Goss is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of U.S . Risk Insurance Group, Inc., a diversified insurance and financial services firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Established by Mr. Goss in 1986 with a single office and a single product line, the company currently has sixteen offices both nationally and internationally. U.S. Risk currently comprises several companies which handle insurance underwriting, insurance brokerage and reinsurance brokerage. Currently, U.S. Risk is the sixth largest excess and surplus lines provider in the nation. Prior to founding the Company in 1986, Mr. Goss began his career as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) where he co-authored the book "Accounting and Auditing of Financial Institutions."

Ian Packer

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Packer is Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc. and its subsidiary companies. In his role as Chief Financial Officer Mr. Packer is responsible for the financial operations of all the companies within the U.S. Risk, including acquisitions, banking and finance. Previously, Mr. Packer was the principal and co-founder of Tobat Capital, a venture capital firm based in Dallas, TX. Mr. Packer also served as Chief Financial Officer for E. W. Blanch and brings to U.S. Risk an extensive knowledge of reinsurance and insurance finance as well as capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.

George Gorney

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Gorney joined U.S. Risk in early 2011. In his role as CIO, Mr. Gorney is responsible for all information technology activities and strategic planning for all companies within U.S. Risk Insurance group, including international operations. Prior to U.S. Risk, Mr. Gorney worked for Verizon Communications in a number of technical and management roles primarily focused on application design, project, and program management. Mr. Gorney received his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and his MBA from the University of Dallas. In addition he has a graduate certificate for studies in Strategic Leadership and contributed to patents in application design and contact center routing methods for work completed while at Verizon.

Monte Stringer

EVP of Brokerage and MGA Business

Mr. Stringer has management responsibility for the company’s wholesale brokerage and contract underwriting divisions, U.S. Risk Brokers and U.S. Risk Underwriters. Mr. Stringer is a 1974 graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Management. Prior to joining U.S. Risk in 1996 he spent 22 years with two national insurance carriers in Texas and Louisiana with management oversight in HR, Personal Lines, Marketing and Finance. Mr. Stringer serves on several insurance boards and committees and is the former President of the Texas Surplus Lines Association.
